The Magbit Emergency Fund
For over 34 years, the Magbit Foundation has been steadfast in its commitment to investing in those who dedicate their lives to the protection of our beloved State of Israel. Never has our commitment been stronger than now as Israeli civilians, were barbarically targeted by Hamas terrorists. If we cannot physically fight alongside our brave brothers and sisters who defend the country we all call home, then we have to stand by their side in this war and support them in every way we can.
We have raised more than $3 Million, getting closer to our $5 Million goal.
100% of all proceeds will be going directly (with no overhead) to verified sources with guidance from the Iron Swords Distribution Committee to help victims of terror and IDF elite combat units. Together we can bring some light in these very dark days. Please join us in this community effort and show presence on behalf of the Iranian Jewish community to provide Israel the much needed support in this moment of unprecedented peril.

Iron Swords Distribution Committee
The Iron Swords Emergency Distribution Committee is a delegation of highly qualified army generals, social workers, and members of the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the office of Social Security in Israel, who have been working tirelessly alongside our leadership to identify the most significant and needy cases affected by the recent war. The Distribution Committee operates in collaboration with official Israeli government authorities that are legally responsible for assisting war victims.
Our committee responds to the unattended cases of thousands of social workers whose daily job is to meet the impacted individuals, bereaved families of hostages, and injured and fallen soldiers.
With over 500 cases already approved, and hundreds more reviewed each week, we are proud of the immense efforts of our leadership alongside the committee in Israel. Examples of cases that have been supported include: financial support for partners of kidnapped victims with young children and IDF widows with young children, furnishing new facilities for evacuees returning home, after school programs for children in the Gaza Envelope villages, transportation to physical and mental therapeutical centers, additional mental health care for those impacted by trauma throughout the country, as well as assisting with transportation of the evacuees for vocational trainings.
Cases have been selected due to their extraordinary nature that requires urgent support. Funds are wired directly from our office to individuals' accounts to ensure they receive the full promised amount without any commissions or overhead fees deducted.
With your donations we have directly sent support to:
Victims of Terror
Widows with Young Children
Prior to October 7th, there was almost no need to support widows with young children or pregnant widows. Governmental authorities can only provide help via exceptional cases committees, and there are many needs that remain unaddressed, or requests face too-long processing time.
Bereaved Siblings
Bereaved siblings are eligible for very limited assistance, primarily for educational support and psychological care. By law, they cannot be included in the exceptional cases committees of official authorities. Many siblings affected by the Iron Swords war were engaged in searching for missing brothers or sisters, experiencing their own trauma that hinders their ability to cope.
Kidnapped Victims and their Families
Israel has never dealt with civilian and security personnel kidnappings on such a large horrific scale. Although existing laws regarding bereaved families have been extended to include the families of kidnapped victims, these families have additional, urgent needs that require special attention.
Bereaved Families Displaced from their Homes
Alongside their unbearable grief, many families are also dealing with displacement from their homes on Israel's southern or northern borders, necessitating support for their relocation to new homes.
Guardians (i.e. Divorced Women)
Currently, the state provides a fixed monthly stipend for orphans. However, divorced mothers of these orphans, who face significant financial and emotional burdens while caring for the children, do not receive sufficient support from the state.
Other Special Cases
Orphans of both Parents
Families who have suffered multiple losses
Orphans of single mothers who have lost their only parent
